I visualized this nickname with custom hand-drawn typographic lettering and echoed the curves through a personalized floral pattern. The 'flowers' each have 5 petals to signify my hands and fingers. Brief: I was tasked at creating a sustainability report that highlighted the values of Teck at the time. Solution: During concept development, Teck was undergoing an overall corporate rebrand. I decided to create a magazine-style concept that allocated custom graphics and infographics to each section while maintaining an overall umbrella design that I established. The new Teck branding was heavily influenced by the design of this book. I later won a GDUSA Award for this project. Brief: I was given the 2014 and 2015 Lights of Hope campaigns based on my speed, accuracy and technical skills given the massive quantity of deliverables using the same artwork. The project involved designing, producing and preparing multiple final files using the same artwork thus adhering to the same look and feel. Solution: These campaigns put my technical and production skills to the test. I was able to demonstrate my creativity while using the same illustrations and brand across several applications. My Adobe Illustrator and InDesign skills were exercised while creating information-heavy forms. It was imperative that I remained organized to ensure version control. Once design was approved, I prepared a wide range of error-free files for production for the client to submit to the suppliers and manage production on their end.
